Limited alcohol will be permitted in two designated BYO Picnic Areas for the 2011 City of Perth Australia Day Skyworks, these being:

1. Kings Park and Botanic Garden - the western side of Fraser Avenue and bound by Wadjuk Way, the Administration road and Fraser Avenue.
2. The Esplanade Reserve, Perth - bounded by William Street, Riverside Drive, Barrack Street and The Esplanade road. Refer to this map indicating the designated BYO Picnic Areas.

Conditions of entry

All persons situated within the BYO Picnic Areas must abide by the following conditions:

1. Persons over 18 will be able to bring either one six pack of beer or pre-mixed drinks or one bottle of wine per adult.
2. The BYO Picnic Areas is operational between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.45pm only, outside those hours it will remain illegal to drink within the areas.
3. Those persons not abiding by these conditions will be requested to leave the area.
4. There will be a strong security and WA Police presence within the areas at all times and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. The remainder of the City of Perth Skyworks will be an alcohol-free event at all times.
