Get in the Aussie spirit and donate to the Variety Coins for Kids Australia Day Tin Shake!
More than 50 big hearted volunteers tin shake around the Swan River foreshore and raise funds for Variety the Children’s Charity of WA.
Simply swap your gold coin donations for a Variety flashing heart, gold heart or tattoo and you’ll be helping Variety empower WA kids in need to live, laugh and learn.
The Coins for Kids Australia Day Tin Shake is an opportunity for all Western Australians to help make a real difference to the lives of WA children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
The Variety volunteers personify what Australia Day is all about, gladly stepping in to help fundraise for others less fortunate than themselves. We take our hat off to them and hope that everyone at City of Perth Australia Day Skyworks will show their support by making a donation.

Lord Mayor's Message
2011 was a defining year for Western Australians and this Australia Day is a time for us all to look back over the last twelve months and celebrate our collective achievements.
I believe, as a City and as a State, we shone on the global stage as a community that has great respect for each other and our surroundings.
Last year's Skyworks was the most successful event it its 27 year history, with hundreds of thousands of people gathering in harmony to watch the renowned pyrotechnics display.
