Presented by the City of South Perth and supported by Lotterywest, IGA Como and Hawaiian, the Celebration Zone will return to Sir James Mitchell Park in 2012 with an even bigger and better programme of events for the whole family to enjoy a great Australia Day experience.
• More than 100,000 m² safe enclosed area
• 70 free activities for all ages from toddlers to adults (2pm - 7.30pm)
• Live entertainment underneath the Big Top tent

Come and have a go on the Zorb Balls, Belly Bumpers, Crazy Bikes, Water Slide, Mini Golf, Pedalos and much much more! Visit the Art Tent to paint your own parasol and take part in the parade to win some fantastic prizes. Pop over to our new Library Tent where we celebrate the National Year of Reading with story telling activities and an interactive puppet theatre. Get grooving on the Silent Disco Dance Floor or just sit back and enjoy the multicultural stage program in the Big Top and watch the spectacular City of Perth Skyworks from the comfort of this secure area.
The City of South Perth endeavours to include everyone in the life of their community and as a result, this event is fully accessible for people with disabilities and there is ample ACROD parking available off Mill Point Road (opposite Forrest Street).
