What Not To Bring
The City of Perth and City of South Perth Special Event Local Law limits people from bringing large stereos, spas, fridges and other large objects to the foreshore on Australia Day. These items including loud stereos may be impounded.
You are welcome to bring any picnic and shade equipment that can easily be transported by foot and taken with you after the show.
Goods that are impounded will be available for collection the next working week following Australia Day by arrangement with the appropriate local government authority.

Lord Mayor's Message
2011 was a defining year for Western Australians and this Australia Day is a time for us all to look back over the last twelve months and celebrate our collective achievements.
I believe, as a City and as a State, we shone on the global stage as a community that has great respect for each other and our surroundings.
Last year's Skyworks was the most successful event it its 27 year history, with hundreds of thousands of people gathering in harmony to watch the renowned pyrotechnics display.
